Digital x-rays use less radiation than traditional film x-rays and produce superior high-quality images.
Advanced technology x-rays are also more comfortable! You simply stand for less than 30 seconds while a sensor spins around your head to generate the x-ray.
Cone beam computed tomography or CBCT is a 3-D image that is currently one of the most advanced x-rays and can give a much clearer image of your teeth and jaws than a traditional 2-D image when needed.
A CBCT reconstructs the hard tissues of your teeth and jaws into an interactive image that can be evaluated in all directions and dimensions. These x-rays produce a similar image but provide a much lower dose of radiation compared to a medical computed tomography or CT. The radiation dose of a CBCT is comparable to the low radiation dose 2-D digital panoramic x-rays that we also use.
We use our diode laser as an option to optimize the efficiency of your orthodontic treatment or enhance the esthetics of your result.
