To answer the question, “Why see an experienced orthodontist?” we should start by comparing dentists and orthodontists. All dentists are licensed to place braces and Invisalign, but not all had extra schooling in that area. Orthodontists have completed an additional 2-3 year residency, along with their 4-year dental degree. Both Dr. Ryan Caudill and Dr. Angela McNeight completed their extended orthodontic education…that’s a LOT of school!
Now let’s take this a little further. Not all orthodontists have the same level of experience either, especially related to Invisalign treatment.
