If you’re choosing Invisalign® clear aligners, your journey typically starts on your second visit. That’s because Invisalign requires:
- A 3D digital scan of your teeth
- Custom fabrication of your aligners
Once your custom aligners are ready, we’ll bring you back in to bond your Invisalign attachments, go over wear and care, and send you home with your first trays.

When Should My Child First Visit the Orthodontist?
We treat patients of all ages—kids, teens, and adults!
But the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) recommends the first orthodontic visit by age 7. Why? This age is ideal for spotting early issues with bite alignment, jaw development, or crowding—before they become bigger problems.
Even if your child isn’t ready for treatment yet, we’ll monitor their growth and let you know when it’s the perfect time to begin.
